First of all, I would like to thank you for the quality knowledge conveyed in your many papers I read. I am a 30-year electrical engineer who is seeking to construct knowledge base with CmapTool. My questions or problems are that I cannot find a paper describing Cmap use for engineering, physics, or math related field.

Engineering most times at theoretical level requires some mathematic deriving involving equations. Do you think there is a way of applying RCM to it?

  2. Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our work.

I also do not think that concept maps have been used in the domain of engineering. There may be a few papers in mathematics, physics.

You can visit the website of and their
conferences where you can find papers in the area. We also have research papers published in two of their conferences. Our papers can be downloaded from the publications page of my blog:

Our research work is particularly for representing the scientific knowledge. at present the focus is on the domain of biology, and later we shall extend our work for the domains of physics, chemistry.

    Hope this helps.
