I have constructed a refined concept map on the topic of the structure of a cell from a chapter in biology textbook at std. VIII.
The main highlights of this map are that only 6 linking words or relation types are used to network around 75 concepts. The map is drawn keeping in mind the principles that we are proposing—(i) usage of linking words in unambiguous way thus maintaining consistency and parsimony in the domain that is represented; (ii) it is possible to use a minimal set of linking words to network a large number of concepts.
The map is constructed using CMAP tool developed by IHMC.
The map is uploaded at the IHMC public server.
