as part of my ph.d. work, i am modeling the processes as change in states of object. currently, the topic of mitosis is modelled following the derobertis book. to name a few of such processes these are–condensation, fragmentation, migration, formation, etc. a convention of notations based on conceptual graphs is also developed. i plan to conduct an empirical study using this method with college, and under grad students.
another exciting feature of this modeling is that it can be used to generate lattices following the formal concept analysis approach. let us see.
the process modeling approach has implications for biology education, FCA – conceptual structures, bio-ontology. shall update as and when i have results.
